The Assistant Manager is responsible overseeing daily operations while implementing company standards and values. Planning, communication, and strict attention to detail are vital to successfully operating in this position. This role should always represent the company in a positive manner while being consistent and fair to all teammates.

Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Plans and facilitates thorough shift meetings daily
    • Provide detailed one-on-ones and reviews on time with complete honesty to assigned staff members
    • Write projections for labor and schedules on time with consideration of forecasts, events, and talent
    • Writes fair schedules with best intent for the company
    • Participate in the interviewing, onboarding and training process for all teammates
    • Set up and execute events
    • Complete Serving Alcohol and ServSafe training prior to completing the management training
    • Being visible on the floor throughout each shift while the store is open
    • Report any and all guest issues to the General Manager
    • Use digital communication log daily for shift and employee notes
    • Accurately account for all transactions and prepare deposits
    • Ensure all tips are allocated correctly and accounted for
    • Actively participate in inventory process to ensure proper P&L
    • Ensure office supplies, bar supplies and merchandise are ordered accordingly
    • Be able to fill any position in house with focus on Expo
    • Make sure all invoices are scanned into system same day as arrival
    • Work a minimum of five shifts per week
    • Report all requested days and vacations with advanced notice of two weeks
    • Assist with maintenance work
    • Get verification for any expense exceeding $100
    • Remain flexible and open to a fluid decision making process


  • 1-3 years of experience in restaurant management/supervising
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously with multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify and complete tasks based on prioritization level and severity
  • Proficiency in MS Office
