The Location

CBC Beer HallLocated at 200 Kelton Avenue, the Beer Hall originally housed a mechanic shop to repair the trolleys that ran through Broad Street and Columbus back in the late 19th century. The Beer Hall now serves as CBC’s most expansive location, with multiple bars and dining areas, 24 tap handles, as well as a state-of-the-art kitchen serving a wide range of globally inspired foods.


The work

As the Events Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing both public and private events at Columbus Brewing Company Beer Hall. This role plays a key part in promoting CBC’s brand experience and driving event-based revenue, while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and guests.


The PAY

This full-time position offers a competitive total compensation package ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience and performance. This includes a base salary and quarterly commission incentives tied to events booked.


The Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience planning and executing private and/or public events, preferably in a hospitality, brewery, or restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated success in driving event revenue and meeting sales targets or commission goals
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable using event management tools, POS systems (e.g., Toast), and CRM or booking platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay calm under pressure, and solve problems in real-time
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event scheduling
  • A proactive, collaborative, and service-driven mindset with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
