This role is instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding CBC’s portfolio within the Columbus regional footprint. If you thrive on building relationships, achieving ambitious goals, and collaborating with top-tier distributor teams, this is the role for you. you.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing distributors, accounts, and sales teams within your regional footprint.
- Achieving goals outlined in the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Trimester Goals.
- Tracking and reporting progress toward key targets and budgets.
- Developing and executing impactful distributor programming to drive volume and distribution.
- Partnering directly with key accounts and regional chains.
- Facilitating localized execution of chain business in collaboration with CBC’s Chain Account Manager.
- Planning and executing promotions and events to enhance brand awareness.
- Conducting routine market visits with distributor reps and management.
- Delivering impactful presentations to distributor sales teams.
- Strategizing innovative solutions and continuously improving processes.
- Monitoring inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Traveling for market blitzes, company meetings, and other sales-related events.
you
- 2 years of beverage/consumer goods selling experience
- Must be able to navigate VIP and other data sources to evaluate business and make recommendations to retailers and distributors. Experience with IRI/Nielsen scan data a plus
- Strong oral and written communication – able to talk and write to others to convey information effectively
- Strong persuasion skills – able to influence others decision making or persuading others to change their minds or behavior
- Active listening skills – this is the key to all sales presentations, understanding your goals can only be achieved by listening to account needs and then filling those needs
- Excellent time management – able to be proactive and take initiative
- Excellent organization and coordination – able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently
- Social perceptiveness skills – being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do
- Decision making skills – able to collect, assess, and interpret relevant information and make sound judgments
- Negotiation skills – bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
