This role is instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding CBC’s portfolio within the Columbus regional footprint. If you thrive on building relationships, achieving ambitious goals, and collaborating with top-tier distributor teams, this is the role for you. you.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing distributors, accounts, and sales teams within your regional footprint.
  • Achieving goals outlined in the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Trimester Goals.
  • Tracking and reporting progress toward key targets and budgets.
  • Developing and executing impactful distributor programming to drive volume and distribution.
  • Partnering directly with key accounts and regional chains.
  • Facilitating localized execution of chain business in collaboration with CBC’s Chain Account Manager.
  • Planning and executing promotions and events to enhance brand awareness.
  • Conducting routine market visits with distributor reps and management.
  • Delivering impactful presentations to distributor sales teams.
  • Strategizing innovative solutions and continuously improving processes.
  • Monitoring inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Traveling for market blitzes, company meetings, and other sales-related events.

you

  • 2 years of beverage/consumer goods selling experience
  • Must be able to navigate VIP and other data sources to evaluate business and make recommendations to retailers and distributors. Experience with IRI/Nielsen scan data a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication – able to talk and write to others to convey information effectively
  • Strong persuasion skills – able to influence others decision making or persuading others to change their minds or behavior
  • Active listening skills – this is the key to all sales presentations, understanding your goals can only be achieved by listening to account needs and then filling those needs
  • Excellent time management – able to be proactive and take initiative
  • Excellent organization and coordination – able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently
  • Social perceptiveness skills – being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do
  • Decision making skills – able to collect, assess, and interpret relevant information and make sound judgments
  • Negotiation skills – bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
