The Location

CBC Brewery – Founded in 1988, Columbus Brewing Company is one of the longest-running breweries in Ohio and the oldest brewery in Central Ohio. Our brewery is situated just outside of downtown at 2555 Harrison Road and it’s where we create our innovative and high-quality beers.

The Work

As our Warehouse Coordinator at our Brewery,  you will support the Finance and Operations functions by loading outbound trucks with finished goods and unloading inbound trucks with raw materials (hops, malt, packaging, etc). The role will be accountable for maintaining an organized warehouse and making sure product is received and shipped accurately and timely. This position will work 40 hours Monday-Friday, staggering shifts between dock hours and packaging department needs.

 

The Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles
  • Valid forklift certification (Mandatory)
  • Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting (brewery experience is a plus).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures, including cold storage areas.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety and organization.
  • Basic system knowledge (i.e. ability to navigate inventory management systems like SAP/OBeer)
